We have been shipping product to our Indeigogo supports and anticipate website orders to ship early March 2025!
1080p HD. There are no webcams that can overcome a videoconference in a dark cave, however. So do your audience and our camera a favor and make sure you have proper lighting. Our Intro video with different webcam angles shows the unedited difference between Center Cam and 2 MAJOR other webcam manufacturers. Another thing to remember, is that while our camera is 1080p HD, many video-conference apps automatically put our camera in 720p (ahem, Zoom/Meet) without a paid version, or due to slow WiFi.
The clip has rubberized contact-points to make it safe for screens, but its design is intended to clip onto the bezel and not the screen. It will accommodate laptops and also larger screens bigger than 2in. It has other features that will make it more versatile than our current spring clip. We're about 2 weeks out from being able to show them. (December 20)
"Horizontal Field of View" translates into how much of you (and your background from side-to-side), is shown on your video-conference display. The new 2.0 Center Cam has a HFoV of 72 degrees.
